Reviews From Customers Who’ve Moved With Us
Real reviews from Google, word for word.
Alex and the team at Old Florida Moving were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. What really impressed me was the level of care they took with our furniture – and especially with our large rugs. They carefully measured everything, rotated the rugs, and placed each piece with incredible precision. Everything ended up exactly where it needed to be, and the attention to detail was exceptional. It’s rare to find movers who combine efficiency with this level of care and professionalism. Alex was wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend Old Florida Moving to anyone looking for a moving company they can truly trust. Five stars without hesitation!
Very professional and hardworking moving company. I would highly recommend. They were on time and had a friendly positive attitude. Good price too.
We hired Alex and his crew at Old Florida Moving to move my grandmother from Gainesville to Crystal River, and they did an amazing job. My grandmother was especially worried about her antique vanity that means so much to her, but they handled it with incredible care and professionalism. Alex personally came out to the job with his crew, and you could tell they truly cared. Everything arrived safely, and the whole move was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Old Florida Moving!

An Office Move That Doesn’t Shut You Down
A small business can’t afford to lose a week to a move. When I plan an office job, my first question is when you need to be open again, and the schedule works backward from there. We work weekends and after hours, so if that means an evening or a Saturday, we set it up ahead of time.
Labeling is what makes the first morning in a new office go smoothly. Every box gets marked by room or desk, and furniture goes down where your floor plan puts it, so your staff isn’t hunting for supplies on day one.
We take desks apart when they won’t fit through a door, keep the hardware with the piece and put them back together on the other end. File cabinets travel with drawers secured, and floor runners and door jamb protectors stay down until the last load is out.
We’re movers, not an IT company. Unplugging and re-hooking computers and networks is up to your IT person; we move and place the equipment carefully.

That’s me, Alex, the owner. I do the walkthrough, I build the plan, and I’m on site the day your office moves. Thirteen years in professional moving.
📅 Book Early
A few weeks’ notice is best, though last-minute office moves are possible when the schedule allows.
📐 Make a Floor Plan
A simple sketch with desk numbers tells us exactly where everything goes.
💻 Line Up Your IT Person
Have them disconnect before we arrive and reconnect once we place the equipment.
🏢 Check Building Rules
Ask both buildings about elevator reservations, loading areas and allowed move hours.
