We’re Not a Broker. We’re Your Neighbors.
The moving industry is full of brokers who take your money, then hand your job to a stranger. Old Florida Moving is different. We’re a local, owner-operated company that does the work ourselves.
Owner Always Present
When you call Old Florida Moving, you speak directly with Alex, the owner. When we show up on moving day, Alex is there working alongside the crew. No middlemen, no surprises.
13 Years of Professional Experience
Alex spent 13 years driving 18-wheelers on long-distance moves, handling everything from studio apartments to multi-million dollar mansion relocations. A new company backed by someone who has truly seen it all.
Never a Broker
Many “moving companies” are actually brokers who sell your job to the lowest bidder. We never do that. Your move stays with us from the first call to the final box.
Honest, Transparent Pricing
No bait-and-switch. No hidden fees on moving day. We give you a clear, honest estimate upfront and we stand behind it.

5-Star Reviews From Real Customers
Every review we’ve received on Google has been 5 stars. Here’s what our customers are saying.
Alex and the team at Old Florida Moving were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. What really impressed me was the level of care they took with our furniture – and especially with our large rugs. They carefully measured everything, rotated the rugs, and placed each piece with incredible precision. Everything ended up exactly where it needed to be, and the attention to detail was exceptional. It’s rare to find movers who combine efficiency with this level of care and professionalism. Alex was wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend Old Florida Moving to anyone looking for a moving company they can truly trust. Five stars without hesitation!
Very professional and hardworking moving company. I would highly recommend. They were on time and had a friendly positive attitude. Good price too.
Thank you, Old Florida Moving LLC, for the outstanding service! The movers were professional, efficient, and took great care with everything. Alex, the owner, personally showed up and managed the entire moving process, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind. It felt great supporting a family-owned company instead of a large corporate operation. The best part is that Alex is an actual mover who works alongside his team, not just someone behind a desk. I highly recommend Old Florida Moving LLC to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and personalized moving service.
We hired Alex and his crew at Old Florida Moving to move my grandmother from Gainesville to Crystal River, and they did an amazing job. My grandmother was especially worried about her antique vanity that means so much to her, but they handled it with incredible care and professionalism. Alex personally came out to the job with his crew, and you could tell they truly cared. Everything arrived safely, and the whole move was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Old Florida Moving!
Highly recommend. Alexandr was friendly, attentive and on time. He handled our furniture with care. Will definitely use him again!
Hi, I’m Alex, the Owner, and I’ll Be There On Moving Day.
Old Florida Moving is a new company, but I am not a new mover. I spent 13 years working in the professional moving industry, driving 18-wheelers on long-distance relocations, handling everything from one-bedroom apartments to multi-million dollar mansion moves. I’ve worked for major moving companies and seen the industry from the inside out.
Now I’m bringing all of that experience home. I started Old Florida Moving to serve my own community the right way. No brokers. No bait-and-switch. No strangers showing up to handle your belongings. Just an experienced professional who shows up personally and takes responsibility for every move.
That’s me, Alex, the owner. I answer the phone, I quote the job, and I’m on the truck the day you move. Thirteen years in professional moving, seven years living right here in Levy County.
When you book with Old Florida Moving, you speak with me directly. I lead the crew on-site. That’s a promise I make to every customer.
