Neighbors Who Trusted Us With Their Move
Real reviews from Google, word for word.
Alex and the team at Old Florida Moving were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. What really impressed me was the level of care they took with our furniture – and especially with our large rugs. They carefully measured everything, rotated the rugs, and placed each piece with incredible precision. Everything ended up exactly where it needed to be, and the attention to detail was exceptional. It’s rare to find movers who combine efficiency with this level of care and professionalism. Alex was wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend Old Florida Moving to anyone looking for a moving company they can truly trust. Five stars without hesitation!
Very professional and hardworking moving company. I would highly recommend. They were on time and had a friendly positive attitude. Good price too.
We hired Alex and his crew at Old Florida Moving to move my grandmother from Gainesville to Crystal River, and they did an amazing job. My grandmother was especially worried about her antique vanity that means so much to her, but they handled it with incredible care and professionalism. Alex personally came out to the job with his crew, and you could tell they truly cared. Everything arrived safely, and the whole move was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Old Florida Moving!

Moving In or Out of Waldo?
Waldo is a small city in northeast Alachua County, part of the Gainesville metro area. Long before the highway, the historic Bellamy Road, built in the 1820s and 1830s to link St. Augustine and Pensacola, passed through here.
The town grew up around the railroad. The Florida Railroad reached Gainesville by 1859, and the junction here was named Waldo Station after Benjamin Waldo, a doctor and politician. A branch line to Ocala followed in 1876, and the City of Waldo was incorporated in 1907.
Today Waldo is best known for the Waldo Farmers & Flea Market on US 301, which bills itself as north central Florida’s largest, with more than 50 acres of open marketplace. Lake Alto lies just east of the city.
Whether you’re moving within Waldo, heading down Waldo Road to Gainesville, or leaving for anywhere in Florida, Old Florida Moving is ready to help.

That’s me, Alex, the owner. I answer the phone, I quote the job, and I’m on the truck the day you move. Thirteen years in professional moving, and I treat a one-piece flea market pickup with the same care as a whole house.
