Reddick is a small incorporated town in northern Marion County, about 15 miles north of Ocala. Fewer than 500 people lived in town at the 2020 census, and the surrounding countryside is pasture and farmland.
The town was platted in 1882 and named for John Reddick, its first postmaster. It was incorporated in 1925, and the post office has been running since 1882.
The grounds of the old Reddick High School are still home to the Reddick auditorium, and the old school appeared in the movie Jeepers Creepers, filmed here in 2000. The Annunciation of the Theotokos Monastery was founded in Reddick in 1998.
